Publishing Rules
These rules keep the FlexCut3D store useful for buyers and fair for every publisher. Submissions that don't follow them are rejected during review — with a reason, so you can fix and resubmit.
What a model must have
- At least 3 pieces. A published model must contain a minimum of 3 parts (root shapes). Single-piece uploads are rejected.
- At least 1 working slider. FlexCut3D models are parametric — every published model must include at least one slider that meaningfully changes the design (size, spacing, angle…). A slider that does nothing doesn't count.
- It must assemble. Pieces must actually fit together at default slider values and across the slider range you expose.
Free models
- Each publisher may have a maximum of 3 free models (price $0) in the store. Free models are great for building an audience — but the store is for selling.
No duplicates
- A model that is identical to one already in the store (yours or anyone else's) is rejected automatically.
- A model that is substantially the same as an existing one — same design with a vertex nudged, recolored, or trivially resized — is rejected in review. Remixes must add real value.
Your work only
- Upload only designs you made. No traced, converted, or re-exported files from other stores or creators.
- No branded or trademarked content (logos, characters, brand names). This protects you as much as us — IP takedowns are handled seriously and repeat offenders lose publishing access.
Quality bar
- Clean geometry, sensible piece counts, a clear name and description, and honest preview images.
- The 360° preview must show the actual model being sold.
Review
- Every submission is reviewed by a human before it appears in the store. Typical review time: a few days.
- Rejections always include a reason. You can fix and resubmit as many times as you like.
