Effective date: July 15, 2026
These License Terms govern every model ("Model") purchased or downloaded from the FlexCut3D Store. Every Model in the Store is sold under the same single Standard License described below — there are no separate "personal" and "commercial" tiers to choose between.
What you're buying
Each Model is a parametric FlexCut3D template — a ready-to-use, adjustable file with built-in sliders for resizing, setting material thickness, and other parameters. The value is that working template, not the underlying shape (many common objects, like a box or an ornament, exist widely elsewhere).
Models are licensed, not sold. You are buying a license to use the template file — not ownership of it. The specific parametric template file remains the work of FlexCut3D or the Model's creator; we do not claim ownership of the generic underlying shape or idea.
Standard License — what you can do
- Open, adjust, and customize the Model in FlexCut3D using its sliders and tools
- Laser-cut it for any purpose: personal use, gifts, prototypes, and learning
- Make and sell the physical items you produce from it — in unlimited quantities, in shops, at markets, or online (e.g., Etsy)
- Use the Model for client, freelance, and business work
- Keep and re-download the file forever from your account
What you cannot do
- Share, resell, give away, publish, or otherwise redistribute the template file itself — in its original or a modified form
- Sell or distribute the Model (or a derivative of it) as a digital file, template, or design
- Use the Model to create a competing template or template store
- Claim the parametric template as your own original work
In short: sell what you make, but don't resell or share the file.
General Terms
- One buyer, one license. A license is tied to the purchasing account and is not transferable. Someone else who needs the file needs their own copy.
- Free models are licensed under these same Standard License terms.
- No warranty on manufacturing outcomes. You are responsible for verifying dimensions, materials, and the safe operation of your equipment before production. See our Terms of Service.
- Refunds revoke the license and download access — see the Refund Policy.
- Violation of these terms may result in revocation of your license and account termination.
