Two big things just landed for FlexCut3D — a new place to buy ready-to-cut models, and a major update to the app itself. Here's what's new.
The Model Store is open
You can now browse and buy ready-to-cut parametric models right from the Model Store. Every model is built to be adjusted, not just downloaded: buy it once, open it in FlexCut3D, drag the sliders to match your material thickness and overall size, and export a laser-ready SVG that keeps every joint aligned. It's yours forever, and you can re-download it any time from your account.
We're starting the store with a small, growing set of models — with more added regularly.
A major update to the app
The bigger news is the app itself. FlexCut3D is now open for you to design your own parts from scratch — the full toolset is live:
- Draw and edit 2D shapes with vertex and bezier tools
- Combine shapes in 3D to build real, assemblable parts
- Rig parametric sliders so a design resizes to any material thickness instantly
- Import an SVG or image and auto-trace it into editable geometry
- Lay parts out flat and export laser-ready SVG — with no restrictions, no watermarks, no limits
If you can design it, you can export it and send it straight to your laser cutter.
What's not here yet — honestly
A couple of things are still on the way, and we'd rather be straight with you about them:
- AI features aren't live yet. Generating shapes and engravings with AI is coming, but it isn't switched on in this release.
- Cloud saves aren't live yet — but you won't lose your work. FlexCut3D automatically keeps a local save backup on your machine as you go, so your designs are protected while cloud sync is on its way.
Try it now
Everything above is live today. Launch the app to start designing, or browse the Model Store if you'd rather grab a model and start cutting in minutes.
We're building FlexCut3D in the open and shipping updates fast — more to come soon.
